Track 1 - Data Centers and Energy

Continued rapid growth in data centers and will drive increased demand for electricity. Massive cloud data centers are often strategically located and supported by access to low cost electricity -hydro, coal, and natural gas. This panel session will feature discussion of innovation and long-term strategies to reduce data center impacts such as electricity demand, water usage, and carbon footprint.  The panel will also discuss the regulatory environment and potential policy impacts and drivers for data centers.
